We have been manufacturing high intensity radiant heaters for nearly 40 years. Over the years we have used many different ceramic tiles for our products from sources both domestic and European. When I found Apogee Ceramics, we ordered some samples not knowing what to expect. What we received were ceramic tiles that burn brighter, more evenly, last much longer and burn less fuel to create the same amount of radiation. The problems with ceramic degradation and powdering that we found with the German and other European manufactured tiles that lose their efficiency have disappeared since we switched to Apogee Ceramics.
