More than 20 years in business
More than two decades of custom work have exposed the team to a wide range of geometries, materials, operating conditions, and production problems. That history gives new requirements a deeper starting point than material data alone.

Those 500 years belong to the people doing the work today across tooling, pressing, firing, and production. That practical experience brings a deep understanding of how material, geometry, and process interact. In practice, it is the difference between being told a component cannot be made and being told what would have to change for it to be.

Apogee’s head office and manufacturing site are in Paris, Ontario, Canada
From this base, Apogee supplies customers in Canada, the United States, Europe, and other international markets.
One site means the engineer who reviewed your drawing is a short walk from the press that forms the part and the kiln that fires it. When a question comes up mid-run, it goes to the person who made the original call rather than back through a file or out to another supplier.
Samples are pressed and fired on the tooling that produces the finished part, so what is proven at the sample stage is what runs in production.

Continuous firing in a long roller kiln
Apogee operates an Italforni continuous roller kiln and a batch bell kiln at the Paris facility. The two firing routes support different production requirements while keeping firing capability in-house.

Maybe their name is on a hockey jersey, or a class visits the factory on a Wednesday morning.
Apogee supports local hockey clubs in the County of Brant. It’s a small gesture, but it means a lot to the families, and that’s the main reason we do it.
Apogee has participated in Manufacturing Day in Grand Erie for about a decade with the Workforce Planning Board of Grand Erie, welcoming students into the Paris facility to see manufacturing in practice.
Of course, none of this tells an engineer whether a cordierite component can be pressed to match their drawing. It just shows where we come from.
